Update: On Tuesday the City of Virginia Beach denied the authenticity of the ballots burned in the video, claiming the unidentified man was burning sample ballots and not actual ones.
“Video showing someone burning ballots – A concerned citizen shared a video with us that ostensibly shows someone burning ballots. They are NOT official ballots, they are sample ballots,” the city announced in an election update. “See the attached freeze frame image and photo of the official ballots, which have the bar codes. “
The city included the following images comparing an official ballot with the one seen in the video, which is missing marks on the side.
The city adds, “Fire investigators are looking into the illegal burning.”

Disturbing footage circulating on social media shows a man appearing to set fire to 80 Trump ballots, a development that comes after the results of the 2020 election were delayed Tuesday.
In a video shared by the president’s son, Eric Trump, the man whose face is not shown on camera shows a bag full of ballots with votes for President Trump.
“Yep, all Trump. You gotta do what you gotta do, Fuck Trump,” he says, adding, “Got around 80.”

“If you work at the mail, or polling place you gotta do what you gotta do,” says the man who proceeds to flip off the burning ballots.
It’s unclear where, or when the man performed the act.
The footage is illustrative of how Democrats have manipulated votes to keep President Trump from winning his re-election bid.
