Shocking video shows a caravan of 8,000 migrants making their way to the U.S. southern border after crossing into Mexico.

Footage of the massive “Christmas Eve” caravan, the largest in over a year, shows thousands of mostly military-age men heading to the U.S. after resting in Tapachula on Sunday.

The majority of this caravan are comprised of migrants from Cuba, Haiti, and Venezuela.

The Associated Press reported that the huge “Christmas Eve” caravan is a “clear indication” that the Biden administration’s recent efforts “to deter migration are falling short.”

“Sunday’s caravan was the largest since June 2022, when a similarly sized group departed as Biden hosted leaders in Los Angeles for the Summit of the Americas. Another march departed Mexico in October, coinciding with a summit organized by López Obrador to discuss the migration crisis with regional leaders. A month later, 3,000 migrants blocked for more than 30 hours the main border crossing with Guatemala,” the AP reported.

The caravan is led by activist Luis García Villagran, who called on authorities of Mexico to give out humanitarian visas to allow these migrants to have permits of transit.

“Today, the ones that walk are the poor of the poor. The ones that cannot afford a visa. The ones that cannot afford a trafficker. The ones that cannot afford a coyote. We move ourselves in the name of God,” he said.

This comes after Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador agreed to stem the flow of migrants from Mexico after Joe Biden begged him to do so in the face of terrible polling.

“We will boost as much as we can to maintain an orderly flow,” Obrador said.

Biden regime officials, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas are set to visit Mexico in the coming days to meet with Mexican officials to “push them for greater action,” the Washington Examiner reported.
