A large number of convicted sex predators have been caught illegally crossing the southern border in recent days, including at least six in a 48-hour period, authorities say.
During a two-day stretch this week, U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) arrested half a dozen illegal aliens who have presumably been removed from the country after committing heinous sex crimes against both children and adults.
USBP Chief Jason Owens shared photographs of six men apprehended by border agents along with details about their criminal histories.
Two of their faces were blurred out, but it is unclear why.

The busts come just days after two other child sex predators were caught hours apart in the same sector.
On September 18 and 19, the dangerous men were arrested in Del Rio, TX, after illegally reentering the U.S.
