The US State Dept. is reportedly disputing changes made to the biography pages of President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, claiming a disgruntled employee edited the pages.

On Monday, social media began swirling with images captured from the State department’s official website showing the end date of the Trump presidency to be January 11, at 7:49PM.

Likewise, Vice President Pence’s page also showed his term ending on “2021-01-11 19:44:22.”

The information gave both Trump supporters and haters cause for concern as the official end date of a US presidency typically occurs on Inauguration Day at noon when the transfer of power is completed.

According to The Daily Beast, however, the dates on the page were simply edited by a disgruntled employee who still has it out for the Trump administration despite the president supposedly losing the 2020 election.

“The change—which lit up social media—was the work of a rogue staffer, sources told The Daily Beast,” noted the liberal rag.

In one of his final tweets before being booted by Twitter, President Trump expressed he would not be attending the presidential inauguration on January 20.

On a somewhat related note, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has been steadily churning out tweets touting the various foreign policy accomplishments of the Trump administration.
