Authorities are searching for a suspected MS-13 gangbanger and illegal alien who allegedly shot and killed a 16-year-old boy in Maryland, according to reports.
The disturbing incident unfolded at around 2 p.m. on October 27 in Pikesville, located in the Baltimore suburbs.
Police were alerted about gunshots at a Ramada Hotel and when they arrived, they found a teen victim in critical condition.
He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Hotel workers say a group of teens had been in the room prior to the shooting, and investigators believe the victim and suspect knew each other.
The Baltimore County Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Brayan Rodriguez, 16, and a manhunt was launched.

Law enforcement sources tell local media that Rodriguez is a citizen of Honduras who illegally entered the U.S. as a child in 2018 under circumstances that remain unclear.
He is also believed to be a member of the highly-dangerous Salvadoran gang MS-13.
“For now, it’s unclear if this is Rodriguez’s first alleged offense. For three days, FOX45 has been asking Baltimore County Police and the Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) if they’ve had previous encounters with Rodriguez and if he was under DJS monitoring at the time of the shooting,” Fox 45 reports.
“Both agencies claim state law prevents them from commenting on individual cases involving juvenile offenders.”
