Texas authorities say they discovered that a Mexican citizen arrested for guiding illegal aliens into the U.S. was wanted for murder in his home country.
On Tuesday, Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) troopers and Border Patrol (USBP) agents apprehended a group of illegal migrants and a suspected smuggler in the Rio Grande Valley.
During processing, TxDPS discovered the guide was on the lam.
“As part of a joint anti-smuggling operation, TxDPS & USBP apprehended 7 illegal immigrants after illegally crossing the Rio Grande in Mission RGV, being guided by a smuggling guide from Mexico,” TxDPS spokesman Lt. Chris Olivarez announced on social media.
“Elipidio Camacho Barajas, 35, of Mexico, was arrested for felony human smuggling. After a debrief & fingerprint database verification, Barajas is wanted for MURDER out of Guanajuato, Mexico.”
Lt. Olivarez shared a video showing troopers playing back voice messages exchanged between Barajas and his ‘supervisors’ during a smuggling operation.
“The video shows Barajas communicating with smuggling organizations in Mexico who guided him across the Rio Grande using drone surveillance,” Lt. Olivarez explained.
“In the video, you can hear how these organizations utilize sophisticated coordination by mapping areas & avoiding areas where Border Patrol Agents are working.”

The overseer can be heard directing Barajas when and where to cross into the U.S. to avoid detection by border agents.
Chaos unfolds constantly along the U.S.-Mexico border, as Infowars regularly reports.
