Uplifting content going viral on social media this week features the gratifying moment a convenience store owner was able to confront a thief ransacking his business.
In the stunning video, a store owner watched on helplessly as a masked hoodlum ransacked his tobacco section grabbing handfuls of cigarettes before throwing them inside a massive garbage bag.
The customer filming the incident behind a counter all the while told the store owner there’s nothing he could do, and asked him, “Have you got insurance?”
As he tries to make his way out, the thief all of a sudden is confronted by an employee who wrestles him onto the floor, giving the shop owner an opportunity to grab a broom handle and beat the robber.
“That’s called whoopin’ yo’ ass!” the man filming tells the robber, changing his tune as the shop owner gains the upper hand and smacks the thief’s butt with the wooden stick.
The incident was hailed as a great “justice served” moment and another example proving the truthful adage: “F–k around and find out.”
