The Biden administration’s Department of Justice made an ominous move on Monday, releasing a letter allegedly written by failed Donald Trump assassin Ryan Routh that offered a $150,000 reward for someone else to “complete the job.”

The DOJ said Routh had left a box with an anonymous person who left it unopened until they heard about the would-be assassin’s arrest.

Upon opening the box, the person found several hand-written letters, firearm ammunition and other objects.

One of the letters was apparently written in case Routh was unsuccessful in killing Trump.

“This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you. I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster. It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer $150,000 to whomever can complete the job,” Routh wrote in the letter released by the feds.

“Everyone across the globe from the youngest to the oldest know that Trump is unfit to be anything, much less a U.S. president,” the letter went on. “U.S. presidents must at bare minimum embody the moral fabric that is America, and be kind, caring and selfless and always stand for humanity. Trump fails to understand any of [that].”

The other letters written by Routh have not been released by the agency, but it’s presumable that there was one created for a hypothetical successful assassination attempt on Trump.

In 2023, Routh published a book titled “Ukraine’s Unwinnable War: The Fatal Flaw of Democracy, World Abandonment and the Global Citizen-Taiwan, Afghanistan, North Korea, WWIII and the End of Humanity,” in which he called for Iran to assassinate Trump.

The letter’s release comes just days after a senior DHS official warned Congress there are five assassination teams on U.S. soil actively trying to end Trump’s life.

With Routh’s deep ties to the Ukrainian government and even the U.S. State Department, it’s worth asking if he’s part of a Ukrainian hit squad and who was funding him.

Thousands of X users rushed to social media to point out the DOJ essentially promoted the notion that someone could get paid big bucks to continue trying to take out the Republican presidential nominee.
