Democrat Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer posted a voter outreach promo on X aimed at Gen Z where she adopts the younger generation’s bizarre vernacular that only ended up making her look out of touch.

“I’m here with volunteers and they’re cooking with gas,” she said, before cutting to her slurping a smoothie. “This slaps hella.”

At that point the short cuts to her leaving a house party with a Harris-Walz sign.

“That party just slayed,” she said before the promo cut back to her at the Democrat campaign headquarters. “I’m calling voters today, rizzing them up.”

While holding the Harris-Walz sign, she said, “Trump wants to ship union jobs overseas — not chill.”

“Trump wants to cut taxes for billionaires. I’m leaving the chat,” she added.

Other cuts featured her saying other popular terms by Gen Z, including “no cap” and “gas.”

The pandering is so ridiculous it hurts.
