Train Wreck: Awkward Cher Performance for Biden/Harris Implodes

Anti-Trump pop icon Cher failed to drum up enthusiasm for Joe Biden during a campaign appearance in Las Vegas.

The “If I Could Turn Back Time” singer attended a few low-energy Biden events in Sin City over the weekend, one of which was marred by technical glitches.

Footage from Saturday night shows Cher getting a lukewarm reception as she took the stage, right before she asked the audience who they want to win, to which they responded unenthusiastically, “Joebiden!”

NewsPushed.com provided an accurate description of the crowd’s reaction:

When Cher asked the crowd who did they want to win, it did not sound like “Biden.” It sounded like “ahhhhhh!” This caused the leftwing actress to let out a sarcastic laugh.

Appearing deflated after the pathetic entrance, the “Do You Believe In Life After Love” vocalist clumsily outlined her exit strategy out-loud to the audience, saying awkwardly, “Ok… Ok. We’ll talk, then I’ll sing, and then I’ll wave goodbye and that will be it.”

Within moments, the event took an even worse turn when Cher was preparing to lip-sync “Walking in Memphis,” only for the audio engineer to play a different track, ultimately exposing the obvious lip-sync attempt.

Luckily for her, a photo appearing online showed the event was only attended by a few dozen people.

In the past few years, Cher has participated in Women’s Marches against President Trump, and last year wished he was “locked in [a] hot cage, with dirty water” over his immigration policies.

Meanwhile, the former actress just debuted a pro-Joe Biden song at a Biden benefit concert Sunday, titled, “Happiness Is Just a Thing Called Joe.”
