Trans mass-murderer Audrey Hale planned her attack in detail, according to journal entries obtained by The Tennessee Star.
A number of entries from the journal, sometimes dubbed the “tranifesto,” clearly suggest that the attack was planned up to five years in advance.
In an entry from 13 March 2023, just two week before her attack on Covenant Elementary School, Nashville, she wrote, “2 more weeks. Thank f*** I planned to die. Plan in mind. [And a plan to near perfection!].” She also indicated the date she planned to attack the school.
In another entry, she wrote, “For 5 years I planned to die. Now I am finally ready to go.”
The journal contains shocking insights into Hale’s state of mind in the years, months and weeks leading up to the deadly attack that claimed the lives of six individuals, including three nine-year-old children. Hale was eliminated by law enforcement at the scene.
Hale declared herself “the most unhappy boy alive,” claimed to have called a suicide-prevention hotline five times, and wrote extensive about her “imaginary penis.”
She also claimed that she came close to being caught in her preparations for the shooting.
Just weeks before the shooting she wrote “I need a trans doctor.”
She ranted at length about politics, including about transgenderism being criminalized. “God I hate those sh*thead politicians,” she wrote.
The Star was able to review nearly 50 notebook pages from Hale’s controversial journal, whose release authorities, including the FBI, have attempted to block.
Michael Patrick Leahy, editor-in-chief of The Star, and Star News Digital Media, Inc., which owns and operates The Star, are currently involved in litigation attempting to force the release of the journal. Entries have been leaked to The Star and other news outlets.
Other recent revelations concerning the shooting include that Hale may have used federal Pell Grant money to buy weapons used in the mass shooting, and that she was treated extensively for psychiatric problems at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
