Over a week after the horrific shooting in Nashville and the transgender killer’s manifesto has still not been released to the public, although authorities say the attack was planned for months beforehand.

On Monday last week, Audrey Hale murdered three children and three adults at The Covenant School, a private Presbyterian school, in what appeared to be a hate-motivated attack.

It was immediately revealed that the killer’s transgender identity played a role in motivating the attack and that Hale had left behind a manifesto.

However, eight days after the slaughter, the details of the manifesto remain unknown to the public, despite manifestos in previous mass shootings normally entering the public domain within 48 hours.

As we highlighted last week, Nashville Council Member Robert Swope told the New York Post that the manifesto will be released publicly after FBI psychological analysts had combed through it.

Since the shooting, LGBT lobby groups have demanded that the manifesto be kept secret to avoid a ‘backlash’ against the transgender community, and its details remain unknown.

According to a report by Newsweek, the writings show that “Hale considered the actions of other mass murderers” when planning the attack and that she schemed “over a period of months to commit mass murder at The Covenant School.”

This clearly indicates that the Christian school was carefully targeted and wasn’t just randomly chosen at short notice.

However, the report adds that “Hale’s motive currently remains unknown,” a claim that is hard to believe given that she obviously left behind a significant amount of writing which also included a suicide note.

There appears to have been confusion surrounding an alleged portion of the manifesto shared online which included the phrase, “You mess with our kids, we kill your kids.”

Despite the portion being shared by prominent people like Donald Trump Jr., Don Aaron, the director of public affairs for the MNPD, could not confirm that the phrase was part of the manifesto.

Will the manifesto ever be released, or will its contents stay secret until all coverage of the incident slips out of the headlines for good?
