Embattled Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau argued that the draconian COVID vaccine and mask mandates are “necessary” to prevent “further restrictions” on the people.
“I think one of the things we all understand is just how frustrated everyone is. We’re all tired of restrictions, of mandates, of having to make sacrifices, of not being able to do the things we love,” Trudeau told reporters following his speech in the House of Commons condemning the Freedom Convoy occupying Ottawa and other cities.
“Canadians got vaccinated. I can understand frustrations with mandates but mandates are the way to avoid further restrictions…As Canadians get vaccinated, as Canadians have gotten vaccinated, we’ve been able to get through things. And this team is going to stay focused on doing exactly that.”
Trudeau did not elaborate on what “further restrictions” his administration would impose if Canadians don’t adhere to forced COVID inoculations, passports, and lockdowns.
Earlier in his speech condemning the convoy, Trudeau – without irony – said the Freedom Convoy was trying to “blockade our economy, our democracy, and our fellow citizens’ daily lives”, seemingly unaware of the damage lockdowns and vaccine mandates have been doing in Canada.

He even characterized the mass anti-mandate trucker demonstrations as just “a few people shouting and waving swastikas around.”

The liberal Prime Minister is becoming more and more unhinged as the Freedom Convoy shows no signs of slowing, doubling down against the convoy instead of leading a dialogue to find solutions to end the mass anti-mandate protest.
