Former President Donald Trump shot back Thursday at Joe Biden’s polarizing January 6 comments, blaming the installed Democrat puppet of sowing further division and destroying America.
Speaking at the US Capitol Thursday, Biden used the one-year anniversary of the Jan. 6 protest as an opportunity to attack the former president, falsely accusing Trump of fomenting an insurrection and spearheading an effort to overturn the questionable results of the US election by force.
“For the first time in our history, a President had not just lost an election. He tried to prevent the peaceful transfer of power as a violent mob reached the Capitol,” Biden said. “But they failed. They failed. And on this day of remembrance, we must make sure that such an attack never, never happens again.”

“His bruised ego,” Biden said, “matters more to him than our democracy or our Constitution. He can’t accept he lost.”
“A former President of the United States of America has created and spread a web of lies about the 2020 election. He’s done so because he values power over principle, because he sees his own interest as more important than his country’s interest and America’s interest,” Biden continued.
In a statement Thursday via his Save America PAC, Trump fired back at Biden, accusing him of using “my name today to try to further divide America.”
“This political theater is all just a distraction for the fact Biden has completely and totally failed,” Trump wrote, highlighting several Biden defeats including his losing battle against Covid.
Trump also accused Biden of “destroying our Nation” with “corrupt elections,” and asked why the Jan. 6 Committee was not better off dedicating their time to investigate the “rigged election.”
“Why is it that the Unselect Committee of totally partisan political hacks, whose judgment has long ago been made, not discussing the rigged Presidential Election of 2020? It’s because they don’t have the answers or justifications for what happened. They got away with something, and it is leading to our Country’s destruction. They want all conversation concerning the Election ‘Canceled.’”
“The Democrats want to own this day of January 6th so they can stoke fears and divide America. I say, let them have it because America sees through theirs lies and polarizations,” Trump’s statement concludes.

Biden, who is destroying our Nation with insane policies of open Borders, corrupt Elections, disastrous energy policies, unconstitutional mandates, and devastating school closures, used my name today to try to further divide America. In a statement released Wednesday on the eve of the Jan. 6 anniversary, Trump blasted Biden’s vaccine mandates for children, accusing the administration of shuttering schools and being “mandate happy.”
“This is an outrage, and MAGA nation should rise up and oppose this egregious federal government overreach,” Trump urged.
Earlier this week, Trump cancelled a press event scheduled to be held on January 6, with reports claiming Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) or Fox News host Laura Ingraham may have talked him out of it.
