While Senate Democrats in battleground states are attempting to distance themselves from Kamala Harris’ flagging campaign, former President Donald Trump is calling on voters to reject their ploys and vote for MAGA candidates.
“Kamala Harris’ sinking Campaign has become so TOXIC, that Democrat Senators in four different States are using me in their advertisements, and stating that they are with President Trump on Tariffs, and numerous other things,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Wednesday, going on to plug their Republican counterparts.
“While it is a great compliment,” Trump continued, “it is not fair to those Republican Senate Candidates, Bernie Moreno, Dave McCormick, Eric Hovde, and Sam Brown, who are with me all the time.”
“These Democrats have voted with Crooked Joe Biden almost 100% of the time. They only pretend to be on my side when Elections roll around,” he wrote.
“OHIO, PENNSYLVANIA, WISCONSIN, NEVADA: VOTE FOR BERNIE MORENO, DAVE MCCORMICK, ERIC HOVDE, AND SAM BROWN – THEY ARE THE ONES WHO ARE WITH US!” Trump added.
The former POTUS’ warnings come as shifting polls have forced incumbent Democrat Senators Sherrod Brown (Ohio), Bob Casey (Pa.), and Tammy Baldwin (Wisc.), in addition to Rep. Elissa Slotkin (Mich.) who’s running for Senate, to produce ads touting their work with the Trump administration, while curiously omitting mention of Harris.
Brown’s ad says he’s worked with “both parties,” insinuating a Trump victory could be on the horizon.
Baldwin’s ad boasts the fact she got Trump to “sign her Made in America bill.”
In Casey’s instance, a recent ad goes as far as to say he “bucked Biden to protect fracking, and he sided with Trump to end NAFTA and put tariffs on China to stop them from cheating.”
Meanwhile, an ad by Slotkin – a Bush-Obama White House aide who was prominently featured on-stage with Obama Wednesday at a Harris event in Detroit – brags about getting a bill she wrote signed by Trump.
None of the ads positively mention the current White House inhabitants.
According to National Review, none of this is by mistake.
“Now, none of these ads are saying Donald Trump is terrific,” writes Jim Geraghty.
“But there is something a little odd about progressive columnists declaring ‘we’re on the verge of a total Nazi takeover of the U.S. government,’ and ‘if elected, Trump would turn America into a racist, authoritarian regime where facts don’t matter,’ while key Democratic senators are touting their ability to work with President Fascist Racist Monster. And you notice these senators aren’t choosing to tell voters about how well they work with Vice President Kamala Harris.”
The Biden-Harris regime has become so radioactive that these desperate Democrat operatives are now actively trying to pin their political aspirations to Trump.
