Trump administration National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director Jay Bhattacharya announced this week the agency is halting decades-long experiments where beagles were subjected to cruel scientific procedures.
The infamous cruel treatment of the dogs by NIH was brought to light in 2021 when documents were made public showing Dr. Anthony Fauci oversaw experiments where beagles were purposefully infected with parasites from biting flies.
A nonprofit organization called the White Coat Waste Project (WCW) obtained the information revealing, “Fauci’s NIH division shipped part of a $375,800 grant to a lab in Tunisia to drug beagles and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with hungry sand flies so that the insects could eat them alive. They also locked beagles alone in cages in the desert overnight for nine consecutive nights to use them as bait to attract infectious sand flies.”
Due to the dogs constantly barking and shrieking in pain, the scientists “had their vocal cords removed,” according to the files.
Around 2,000 beagles had pneumonia-causing bacteria pumped into their lungs until they bled out and went into septic shock.
Following Bhattacharya’s announcement, WCW president and founder Anthony Bellotti praised the Trump administration for shutting down the cruel experimentation, saying, “Taxpayers and pet owners shouldn’t be forced to pay for the NIH’s beagle abuse. We applaud the President for cutting this wasteful NIH spending and will keep fighting until we defund all dog labs at home and abroad. The solution is simple: Stop the money. Stop the madness!”
Sadly, Fauci’s sinister experiments didn’t stop at harming animals, as Infowars reported in October 2021, the NIH conducted AIDS studies in the 80s and 90s which left some foster children clinical volunteers dead.
The researchers sought HIV-infected foster kids to test dangerous new drugs that sometimes ended lethally.
An Associated Press article by former reporter John Solomon documented how the government went about seeking “mostly poor or minority children” to be exposed to “medical research and drugs that were known to have serious side effects in adults and for which the safety for children was unknown.”
The research was conducted in at least seven states – Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, Colorado and Texas – and involved more than four dozen different studies. The foster children ranged from infants to late teens, according to interviews and government records.
Several studies that enlisted foster children reported that patients suffered side effects such as rashes, vomiting and sharp drops in infection-fighting blood cells, and one reported a “disturbing” higher death rate among children who took higher doses of a drug, records show.
The NIH is finally being turned around after decades of being led by the criminal Dr. Fauci.
