Donald Trump went on a social media spree after the news broke on Sunday that Joe Biden will exit the presidential race as the Democrat Party’s candidate.
Sleepy Joe made the decision while he allegedly battled COVID-19 at his Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, mansion.
Trump called Biden “a threat to Democracy” and suggested he “never had Covid” in the first place.
“Who is running our Country right now?” Trump asked in another post. “It’s not Crooked Joe, he has no idea where he is. If he can’t run for office, he can’t run our Country!!!”
The GOP presidential nominee also pointed out the Democrats “stole the race from Biden after he won it in the primaries” by forcing him out of the race.
“These people are the real THREAT TO DEMOCRACY!” he said.
On Sunday evening, Trump joked that Biden would “wake up and forget that he dropped out of the race.”
In a Monday morning follow-up message, Trump mocked Biden, writing, “It’s a new day and Joe Biden doesn’t remember quitting the race yesterday! He is demanding his campaign schedule and arranging talks with Presidents Xi of China, and Putin of Russia, concerning the possible start of World War 3. Biden is ‘sharp, decisive, energetic, angry, and ready to go!’”
While the Democrats scramble to assemble a presidential ticket weeks out from the party’s convention, the Trump/Vance campaign is already holding rallies across the country.
