President Trump claimed his China Virus diagnosis may have led to a medical breakthrough, and warned China that it will “pay a big price” for releasing COVID-19.

Trump explained in a video statement on Wednesday the next steps his administration will take regarding America’s coronavirus response, which include making an experimental drug by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals widely available to the public free of charge.

“For me, I walked in, I didn’t feel good, a short 24 hours later I was feeling great, I went to get out of the hospital” the president said. “And that’s what I want for everybody. I want everybody to be given the same treatment as your president. Because I feel great. “

“So, I think this was a blessing from God that I caught it,” the president continued. “This was a blessing in disguise. I caught it, I heard about this drug, I said ‘let me take it’ – it was my suggestion – I said ‘let me take it’, and it was incredible the way it worked. Incredible.”

Trump went on to explain he wants to make the experimental drug he took by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals called REGN-COV2 widely available and free for Americans.

“I want to get for you what I got. And I’m going to make it free. You’re not going to pay for it.”

The president then warned that China would see retribution for releasing the coronavirus upon the world.

“It wasn’t your fault that this happened — it was China’s fault,” Trump said. “And China is going to pay a big price for what they’ve done to this country. China is going to pay a big price what they’ve done to the world. This was China’s fault. And just remember that.”
