Former President Donald Trump became the first president to use cryptocurrency to make a real-world purchase.
On Wednesday, the 45th president visited crypto-themed bar Pubkey in Greenwich Village ahead of his rally in Long Island, using a phone to send payment for several burgers via the blockchain.

The Bitcoin purchase comes as Trump announced he would soon be unveiling a new crypto exchange dubbed World Liberty Financial.
Later Wednesday, the former president heads to Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale for another massive MAGA rally.
