Ukraine Drone Bombs Sleeping Civilians in Moscow as Kiev Talks Peace

Hours after the attack, which garnered scant strategic military gains while inflicting a massive terroristic threat on the Russian civilian population, a Ukrainian delegation met with U.S. officials at the peace summit in Saudi Arabia.

On Tuesday Ukrainian officials attended the peace summit in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to speak with U.S. officials hours after Kiev launched a major drone attack against Russian civilians in Moscow during the early morning hours.

“At least one person has been killed and three injured as 69 UAVs heading toward the capital have been destroyed by air defenses,” RT said Tuesday.

The drones reportedly hovered outside civilian’s apartment windows when they exploded, sending metal shrapnel into the apartments at sleeping Russians. While this will have little, if any, effect on Ukraine ‘winning the war’, it is sure to terrorize Russian civilians and make peace negotiations all the more difficult.

“Ukraine stared a big drone strike on Moscow today, but the devious part is, that it was aimed at civilians and the drones were packed full with metal bearings to inflict as much injuries as possible,” one social media user said. “People were sleeping in their beds and the drones exploded in front of the windows, peppering the windows with small metal balls injuring the civilians in their beds. Many people were injured, including children and one person died in the hospital. Terrorism nothing else to call it.”

Hours after attacking sleeping Russian civilians, a Ukrainian delegation met with U.S. officials at the peace summit.

“The top U.S. diplomat is being joined by U.S. national security adviser Mike Waltz for the talks. The Ukrainian side is led by Andriy Yermak, a top Zelenskiy aide,” Reuters said Tuesday. “Zelenskiy, who was in Saudi Arabia on Monday to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, will not be joining the talks.”

President Donald Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, is expected to travel to Moscow, Russia this week to discuss the Ukraine conflict with Russian President Vladimir Putin, although this officially remains unconfirmed.

On Thursday Russia bombed targets within Ukraine. These attacks focused on strategic strikes of military and industrial significance, not terroristic psychological attacks aimed specifically at civilians, like Ukraine’s overnight attack. Following Russia’s attack late last week Trump said that Russia is easier to deal with than Ukraine.

On March 4 Ukraine’s Dictator claimed he’s ready for peace after saying his war will continue for a very, very long time just days prior. The Dictator has reportedly apologized to President Trump over the fiery meeting at the White House where he disrespected the United States, according to Witkoff.

“Zelensky sent a letter to the President. He apologized for that whole incident that happened in the Oval Office,” Witkoff said. “I think that it was an important step and there’s been a lot of discussion between our teams and the Ukrainians and the Europeans who are relevant to this discussion as well.”

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Monday that Ukraine will have to relinquish some of its territories to Russia. Land which Kiev’s forces have lost over the course of the war.

“Obviously, it’ll be very difficult for Ukraine in any reasonable time period to sort of force the Russians back all the way to where they were in 2014,” Rubio said. “The most important thing that we have to leave here with is a strong sense that Ukraine is prepared to do difficult things, just as the Russians are going to have to do difficult things to end this conflict – or at least pause it in some way, shape, or form.”

It was reported Sunday that President Trump wants Ukraine’s Dictator to step down from power.

“Trump also wants Zelenskyy to make some movement toward elections in Ukraine and possibly toward stepping down as his country’s leader, the officials said,” NBC News reported Sunday.

Notably, Russian media outlets spell the Ukrainian Dictator’s last name ‘Zelensky’ while Western media outlets have been spelling it ‘Zelenskyy’. Recently some Western outlets began spelling it ‘Zelenskiy’.
