Liberal author Fran Lebowitz said during HBO’s “Real Time With Bill Maher” on Friday that “Joe Biden should dissolve the Supreme Court” because it’s become a “harem” for Donald Trump.
“The Supreme Court is completely his. I mean, it’s so disgraceful, this court that shouldn’t even be allowed to be called the Supreme Court,” she told host Bill Maher. “It’s an insult to Motown to call it the Supreme Court.”

“It’s not even a court. It’s only a court in the sense that the court of Louis XVI was a court. Basically, it’s a harem. It’s Trump’s harem.”
Lebowitz added that she feels sorry for “the three real judges on the court” because they have to go to work with “horrible” conservative justices like Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanagh, Neil Gorsuch and Amy Coney Barrett.
Lebowitz, apparently unfamiliar with the separation of powers under the U.S. constitution, went on to explain how Biden should “dissolve the Supreme Court” under the authority of its recent ruling on presidential immunity.
“So, what Biden should do — not that you asked — but when they passed that ruling where they said ‘you’re not the president, you’re the king,’ which is what that ruling is, you can do whatever you want, you can never be held responsible,” she explained.
“I thought, well Biden is still the president — no one seems to notice — but Biden should dissolve the Supreme Court,” Lebowitz concluded, which was met with applause from the audience.
Maher, clearly dismayed, asked, “Dissolve the Supreme Court? Come on.”
“Good to see you’re centrist,” he added sarcastically.
Lebowitz’s ill-conceived notion for Biden to dissolve one of the three branches of the U.S. government was derided on social media.
It’s a mental illness.

Forced bussing, abortion, gay marriage, these were not popular ideas so the left forced them through the judiciary

The Supreme Court has been under constant attack from the left since the court became a conservative majority under Trump, and even more so after the court overturned the Dobbs decision in 2022, which repealed Roe v Wade and made abortion rights an issue for the states.
In fact, Democrats this week introduced a bill that would pack the court, increasing its size from 9 justices to 15 over a period of 12 years.
The bill, brought forward by Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) would also require a two-thirds ruling by the Supreme Court and the circuit court of appeals in order to overturn a law, and make it impossible for Senators to delay votes on new appointments.
