Tucker Carlson, the host of the eponymous “Tucker Carlson Tonight” TV show on the Fox News, continued his unparalleled and unprecedented dominance of cable news ratings throughout the month of October, averaging a staggering 5.36 million total viewers per night. Carlson previously set the record for most total viewers earlier in 2020, amidst the violent Black Lives Matter riots.

Carlson was the most significant contributor to Fox News’ ratings dominance throughout the month of October, pulling in a nightly average of 5.36 million viewers and over 1 million adults in the highly coveted 25-54 marketing demographic.

As the clock ticks down, justice minded Americans find themselves wondering what, if anything, will happen with the investigation into Hunter Biden’s laptop.

In July, Carlson set the world record for cable news program ratings with an average of 4.3 million nightly viewers. He has now broken his own record and surpassed it by over one million average viewers.

Fellow Fox News host Sean Hannity was the only other host in the cable news business to average over 5 million total viewers, which makes the fact that the network hosts both of the biggest record-breaking programs in the country all the more impressive.

Carlson first arrested the top spot in viewership at Fox News from Hannity in April, and has consistently remained in the lead ever since.

Perhaps most impressively, Carlson has demolished the ratings of pro-Black Lives Matter sports organizations such as the NBA, MLB, and NHL, even as experts predicted a rise in viewership for sports during the COVID-19 lockdowns:

Smart TV service provider Roku noted this week that “the majority of Roku homes that had previously watched at least 30 minutes of professional baseball, basketball or hockey on traditional cable TV in 2019 did not tune in to watch the opening weekends of the MLB, NBA or NHL this year.”

67% of households that watched the NBA in 2019 did not tune in to watch the opening week, and 40% of superfans who normally watched every game available on TV did not tune in to a single minute of basketball during the entire first week.

By contrast, Tucker Carlson has had a historically unprecedented ratings boom over the summer that intensified during the Black Lives Matter riots.

Carlson’s success also comes in spite of censorship from left-wing social media tech monopolies.

On September 25, the official “Tucker Carlson tonight” Facebook page was slapped with a “reduced distribution” penalty that severely restricts the amount of followers that can see the page’s posts in their news feed.
