The Biden administration announced Friday that it believes Russia will conduct a false flag attack and blame Ukraine as a pretext for invading the country.
Both Pentagon press secretary John Kirby and White House press secretary Jen Psaki made the announcement.
“Without getting into too much detail, we do have information that indicates that Russia is already working actively to create a pretext for a potential invasion, for a move on Ukraine,” Kirby stated.
He added, “In fact, we have information that they’ve pre-positioned a group of operatives, to conduct what we call a false flag operation, an operation designed to look like an attack on them or their people, or Russian speaking people in Ukraine, as an excuse to go in.”
Psaki repeated the claim, noting “As part of its plans, Russia is laying the groundwork to have the option of fabricating a pretext for invasion,”
She added, “We have information that indicates Russia has already pre-positioned a group of operatives to conduct a false flag operation in eastern Ukraine.”

So false flag operations do exist and are acknowledged as something other than deranged conspiracy theories when it suits the administration.
US intelligence lied about Russia-about-to-attack for months.
Just as they lied about Syria, Yemen, Libya, Iraq, bounties in Afghanistan etc etc.
Independent media would question and put into context the latest accusations.
