Fox News contributor and podcast host Sara A. Carter talked with a pair of Carolina sheriffs who exposed the Biden-Harris administration’s lack of assistance during the Hurricane Helene aftermath rescue efforts that are still ongoing.
A message from the Sheriff Wright and Sheriff Ellenburg in North Carolina regarding FEMA and the aftermath Hurricane Helen- we spent the day in Chimney Rock and Lake Lure and the devastation is unbelievable- but the people of NC have pulled together – truly amazing mountain… pic.twitter.com/LwgrRM9xAx

South Carolina Sheriff Chuck Wright and Rutherford County, North Carolina Sheriff Aaron Ellenburg told Carter the feds are “nothing more than a boat anchor” slowing down the efforts by people on the ground.
Wright also suggested Kamala Harris should have just sent the $750 promised to hurricane victims to a foreign country like Ukraine since that appears to be the government’s top priority.
Carter noted “almost everyone” she talked to in the disaster area reported they’d been denied the measly government paycheck due to either making too much money or for daring to have homeowner’s insurance, as Infowars covered last week.
Sheriff Wright pointed out FEMA wants people to sign up for aid by using their phones or computers while the vast majority of people in the area do not have access to the internet due to damage from Helene.
“Thank you Elon Musk, by the way,” he added when Carter said the only people with internet access are using SpaceX’s Starlink satellite receiver to get online.
“So, come soon President Trump. We need you,” the sheriff stated.
Carter joined Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Monday evening to report on what she witnessed in Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, North Carolina.
Five locals who had their homes and businesses destroyed by the storm joined the program to express their anger at the lack of aid from the Biden-Harris administration.
One man said his daughter lost her house, met with FEMA employees, and was only offered $300 instead of the $750 promised by Kamala Harris.
“What is FEMA?” the man rhetorically asked Carter, adding the $300 “won’t even cover what was in the refrigerator.”
A local coroner and ex-National Guardsman told Fox the initial government response was “very slow” and that he’s seen “no evidence” the feds are helping out in a major way.
Hannity asked the locals what their message to Kamala and Biden would be as Harris has been going on podcasts instead of addressing the tragedy, and one guy responded, “Where are you? These people have lost their homes, they’ve lost their businesses, they’ve lost everything and they need support. They need help and $750 ain’t much help.”
Another man who lost his home claimed FEMA workers declared his loss the result of a mudslide despite no workers having physically seen the property, which made him ineligible for insurance coverage.
Carter told Hannity this was a common story she’s heard from several locals.
This horrifying situation perfectly captures the pathetic leadership of the Democratic Party lawmakers currently running America into the ground, and why Donald Trump is seeing a massive increase in support around the country.
