With Donald Trump set to debate Kamala Harris on Tuesday, Vivek Ramaswamy is warning Americans to expect the unexpected if the debate goes badly for the Vice President.
Speaking with Sean Hannity on Fox, Ramaswamy predicted that things would not go well for Kamala Harris in the debate, and that this would push the regime to use further “tricks” to try and win the election.
If Trump trounces Kamala at the debate, get ready for some very strange things to happen before November. They’ve already sued him, prosecuted him, tried to kick him off the ballot, and swapped out his opponent. All of it could be just a preview of what’s to come. pic.twitter.com/XfSjyErEXY

“What I expect is that Donald Trump will once again run circles around Kamala Harris, just as he did with Joe Biden in that last debate,” Ramaswamy told Hannity.
“The question is: is that going to be good for us in winning that election or not? Because last time around it was the catalyst for something drastic happening afterwards, which in that case was swapping out Joe Biden as the nominee.
“And I think if Kamala Harris really does tank in this debate—and there’s a decent chance that happens—I think there are strange things that could happen between now and November, because the Democrats, they’ve been playing this one step ahead.”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa,” Hannity interjects.
Does Vivek really think the Democrats could replace Kamala Harris?
“No, I don’t think it’s going to be a change in the candidates. The ballots have already been printed. But I do think that we have a machine that we’re up against that has demonstrated that it is going to go to great measures to defeat Donald Trump.
“Trace this back over the last year and a half. You’ve got prosecutions. You’ve got civil cases. You’ve got extrajudicial attempts to remove him from the ballot. They told us Joe Biden was definitively going to be the nominee, then negotiated for the earliest presidential debate in history, because they knew there was a good chance Biden would underperform. Once he did, they swapped him out. I think we’ve got to learn from those lessons to say that they’re still going to have many more tricks up their sleeve.
“So the two scenarios are: either Kamala Harris overperforms—and I don’t expect that to happen—or what I do expect to happen is for Donald Trump to seriously defeat her in this debate as he did last time around. But don’t expect that to be the end of this election. I think there’s going to be more tricks left up their sleeve.”
Kamala Harris is currently sequestered in a hotel in downtown Pittsburgh, in deep preparation for Tuesday’s debate. According to AP, “she’s been working with aides since Thursday and chose a venue that allows the Democratic nominee the option of mingling with swing-state voters.”
Donald Trump, meanwhile, has dismissed the value of preparation.
“You can go in with all the strategy you want but you have to sort of feel it out as the debate’s taking place,” he said during a town hall with Sean Hannity.
Trump then quoted boxer Mike Tyson: “Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face.”
The debate will air on Tuesday at 9pm EDT on ABC and stream on ABC News Live, Disney+ and Hulu. ABC News Live is available on Samsung TV+, the Roku Channel, Amazon Fire devices, YouTube, Tubi and other streaming platforms.
