Conservative radio host and Washington Post contributor Hugh Hewitt angrily fled in the middle of a news segment on Friday, ultimately resigning from his position with the outlet.

Hewitt’s liberal co-hosts, Jonathan Capehart and Ruth Marcus, were pushing the narrative that “Donald Trump is laying the groundwork for contesting the election by complaining that ‘cheating’ was taking place in Pennsylvania.”

Discussing the RNC’s recent lawsuit against Bucks County, Pennsylvania, the duo claimed Trump only mentions voter fraud if he’s losing an election.

Frustrated with the biased reporting, Hewitt said, “We’re news people even though it’s the opinion section. It’s got to be reported. Bucks County was reversed by the court and instructed to open up extra days because they violated the law and told people to go home. So, that lawsuit was brought by the Republican National Committee and it was successful.”

He continued, “The Supreme Court ruled that Glenn Youngkin was successful. We are news people even though we have opinions, and we have to report the whole story if we bring up part of the story. So, yes he’s upset about Bucks County, but he was right and he won in court. That’s the story.”

Capehart was offended that Hewitt “lectured” him “about reporting” before attacking Hewitt for allegedly making statements that “aren’t based in fact.”

“I won’t come back Jonathan, I’m done,” Hewitt answered as he stormed off screen. “This is the most unfair election ad I’ve ever been a part of.”

Hewitt was right about the RNC winning its lawsuit against Bucks County officials’ voter suppression tactics on Wednesday.

Additionally, as the recently-resigned WAPO columnist noted, the United States Supreme Court decided in a 6-3 ruling Wednesday that the state of Virginia would be allowed to remove 1,600 suspected illegal immigrants from its voter rolls after the Biden administration fought to keep them.

So, even when Trump uses the proper channels to push back against Democrat election meddling efforts, mainstream media pushes the narrative that he’s just “complaining” about non-existent cheating.
