Australian government health officials were unable to define the word “woman” when pressed by a local senator.
The remarkable moment unfolded when Senator Alex Antic questioned Australian Department of Health officials Wednesday during a Senate legislative hearing.

“I’m gonna finish up… with a very simple question for the department and that is one that has troubled me for a great deal of time with the bureaucracy here,” Sen. Antic said, before asking the panel, “Can someone please provide me with a definition of what a woman is?”
An audible cough could be heard in the moments of silence that followed as Health Dept. panelists sat staring blankly.
“Department of Health?” Antic inquired. “Definition of a man? Definition of a woman? Anyone?”
Antic goes on to call out the Secretary of the Department of Health Dr. Brendan Murphy, who chuckled and proceeded to ramble, “I think there are a variety of definitions…”
“Just a simple one,” Antic told him.
“I think thinking of a more fulsome answer, we should take that on notice,” Murphy said, adding, “There are obviously biological definitions, but there are definitions in terms of how people identify themselves.”
“Why is it so difficult to find a bureaucrat who will provide a definition of the word ‘woman’?” Antic asked on Facebook.
The remarkable exchange – which follows a similar situation last month during the US Senate confirmation hearing of Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Jackson, who also couldn’t answer the same question – again illustrates how the regressive left’s LGBTQ+ indoctrination has infected the highest levels of government.
The senator for South Australia has been on a roll in parliament lately — last week he lifted the curtain on Klaus Schwab and his World Economic Forum’s Great Reset agenda, exposing it as a subversive communist ploy that steers global politics by installing Young Global Leaders in positions of power.
