Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris joined “60 Minutes” for a sit-down interview over the weekend, and teaser videos released ahead of Monday night’s premier of the program show she totally bungled the opportunity to speak to Americans.
Regarding her economic agenda, the Biden VP said she plans on raising taxes on wealthy citizens to fund her radical policies.
60 Minutes just released this clip of their Kamala Harris interview—and it’s rough.

You can tell why Harris and Tim Walz have been kept from public scrutiny up to this point. They are not handling these interactions well at all. pic.twitter.com/ysiUCjuIF4
“60 Minutes” host Bill Whitaker questioned how Harris would pay for her costly proposals, and she stumbled over her words, saying, “One of the things is that I’m gonna make sure the richest among us, who can afford it, pay their fair share in taxes…”
Appearing frustrated at Kamala’s non-answer, Whitaker chimed in, telling the Democrat candidate, “We’re dealing with the real world here. How are you gonna get this through Congress?”
Again struggling to find the right words, Harris said, “Well, you know when you talk quietly with a lot of folks in Congress, they know exactly what I’m talking about because their constituents know exactly what I’m talking about.”
When Harris was asked about America’s influence over Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, she said, “Well, Bill, the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by, or a result of, many things — including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.”

Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance responded to the Netanyahu clip, writing, “This is not a person who is competent enough to be president of the United States.”
Watch this video. It's only 26 seconds. Show it to your friends and family.

The full interview will be released Monday evening, and it might be a historically poor performance by Harris if the “highlights” released by NBC foreshadow what’s to come.
