Footage out of Canada features overzealous retail employees rudely kicking a customer out of his store for lowering his face mask to smell scented candles.
The video going viral on social media begins with the customer filming inside a Dollarama store as a frantic employee tells him to leave the store over the mask mishap.
“No pictures in the store, please!” the employee screamed at the customer, who was explaining the situation in a TikTok video.
“Sir, you will not keep your mask up! Now it is up for the video. Please leave the store!” the worker yelled at him.
“I was trying to smell these candles here to shop at Dollarama here,” the customer says, pulling his mask down again to give an example of how he was merely smelling candles.
At this point, another employee from another section of the store also yells, “Put your mask up!”
“Unbelievable… You guys are outrageous,” the customer says as he walks toward the exit.
Overhearing the uncivil exchange, a female shopper with her children tells the workers that she’s also leaving the store over their treatment of the male customer, saying, “I know that I won’t be shopping here again.”
“I was trying to smell a candle,” the man tells the worker once they get outside the store.
“The mask stays on at all times,” the worker says.
“How do I smell the candle?” the man asks.
“You have to just do the best you can,” the worker responds.
“Well, then you should probably take the candles out of the store then, because that’s the tendency with candles is to smell them,” the man replies.
The footage is emblematic of the mass formation psychosis discussed by virologist Dr. Robert Malone on the Joe Rogan podcast, induced by the government and media’s constant Covid hysteria.
