Footage posted to X by the White House on Friday showed US Marine forces arriving at the southern border to help carry out President Donald Trump’s plan to secure it.

Video featured several Ospreys delivering 500 heavily armed troops to supplement US Customs and Border Protection agents near a border wall, following Trump’s declaration of a national emergency at the border.
Other footage showed soldiers spooling out rolls of concertina wire in San Diego.
“Just as he promised, President Trump is sending a strong message to the world: those who enter the United States illegally will face serious consequences,” the White House wrote on Instagram, alongside of several detained criminal illegal aliens being led into what appears to be a C-17 Globemaster III for deportation.
This is only Day 5 of Trump’s agenda, and the mainstream media is already melting down over the fact he’s keeping the promises he made to the American people.

“This is just the start,” one defense official told reporters, adding, “This is an initial step, and we are anticipating many further missions.”
The footage comes as Trump is considering sending a total of 10,000 troops to the border, after he abruptly canceled asylum requests earlier this week.
