Private school educators were advised at a national teacher’s conference to discuss gender and genitals with students as young as four, footage obtained by Breitbart shows.
In video from the National Association of Independent Schools flagship conference in 2020, panelists told educators from more than 1,500 independent private K-12 schools that discussions surrounding “gender, and sexuality, and identity” could begin as early as the Pre-K grade level.
“Starting in Pre-K we talk about their bodies, the parts that they were born with, about penises and vaginas and whether they make somebody a boy or girl. But also their feelings, what do they feel like inside, do they feel like a boy or a girl? What does their head say? Do their heart and their body match up,” one lecturer told teachers in attendance.
In another clip from the nearly hour-long workshop, a teacher discuses being caught off-guard by the “progressive” recommendations, but then plunging full-throttle into a discussion about the “labia” and “vulva” with Pre-K students.

“It was my first year so I was like, ‘okay, we’re just super progressive;’ so I went in there guns blazing and I just went for it. And I ended up talking about the vulva and the labia with Pre-K’ers. And it was just one of those moments, everybody’s looking in horror, and I’m like, ‘oh, no, I made a really big mistake.’ And I share that with you because it’s not perfect, right? It’s a practice. So be kind to yourself when you’re delving into this stuff,” the teacher explained to fellow educators.
In another video, a lecturer tells 2nd grade educators to bring awareness to students’ so-called gender identities, “in terms of your head and your heart and your body parts matching up … and what happens if it doesn’t.”
In another video the woman discusses teaching 5th graders about “internal and external genitalia … hormones and chromosomes,” saying it’s “something you can only change with a whole lot of effort,” and refers to a Gender Unicorn diagram used to help students figure out their gender identities.
The workshop also included ways to deal with upset parents who speak up against the teachings using “Puritan Speak,” examples of which include:
- That’s my job.
- They’re just not “ready.”
- That’s too much too soon
- They’re too young to know that.
- Won’t they lose their innocence?
- But, what if my child isn’t ready?
- But what if they tell other children?
- Don’t you have to wait until they ask?
- But what if they keep on asking questions?
- You’re just trying to put ideas in their heads!
The materials were reportedly obtained by Breitbart through a group of “Undercover Mothers” who are against the political and LGBTQ indoctrination happening in schools.
On their website, NAIS describes itself as “a nonprofit membership association that provides services to more than 1,900 schools and associations of schools in the United States and abroad, including more than 1,600 independent private K-12 schools in the U.S.”
The organization did not reply to Infowars’ request for comment as of writing.
