The Texas National Guard is continuing to set up razor wire barriers along the southern U.S. border despite the Supreme Court ruling the Border Patrol can cut them down.
The Supreme Court on Monday sided with the Biden regime in a 5-4 ruling allowing the Border Patrol to cut the razor wire to allow illegal migrants easier access into the country.
Gov. Greg Abbott (R-Texas) announced Tuesday that the Texas National Guard will continue to place concertina wire along key areas of the border like Eagle Pass.
“The Texas National Guard continues to hold the line in Eagle Pass. Texas will not back down from our efforts to secure the border in Biden’s absence,” Abbott wrote on X.

Attorney General Ken Paxton also lambasted the Supreme Court for ruling against Texas’ right to secure its borders.
“The Supreme Court’s temporary order allows Biden to continue his illegal effort to aid the foreign invasion of America,” Paxton said in a statement. “The destruction of Texas’s border barriers will not help enforce the law or keep American citizens safe. This fight is not over, and I look forward to defending our state’s sovereignty.”
