President-elect Donald Trump refused to bow to NBC anchor Kristen Welker’s demand that he admit he lost the 2020 election, and noted the reason why he won the 2024 election so soundly was because it was “too big to rig.”
The “Meet the Press” host on Sunday requested that Trump “concede” the stolen 2020 election “for the sake of unifying this country.”
“No. Why would I do that?” Trump replied. “When you say the country is deeply divided, I’m not the president. Joe Biden is the president.”
Welker interjected, “But you’re going to be the president.”
Trump countered, “I’m not the president. So when you say it’s deeply divided, I agree. But Biden’s the president, I’m not.”
“And he has been a divider,” he continued. “And you know where he divided it more than anything else and it probably backfired on him, I think definitely, is weaponization. When he weaponized the Justice Department and he went after his political opponent, me.”
“He went after his political opponent violently because he knew he couldn’t beat him. And I think it really was a bad thing. And it really divided our country,” Trump added.
Welker then asked why the Democrats didn’t steal the 2024 election since they’re in power in the White House and Senate.
“Because I think it was too big to rig,” Trump said.
“So you wont–” Welker began to ask.
“Too big to rig,” Trump repeated.
