Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has acquiesced to President-elect Donald Trump’s mass deportation plan, claiming she will accept millions of illegal aliens set to be deported into Mexico, including foreign nationals.
Sheinbaum said during a press briefing on Friday that Mexico would even be willing to accept illegal aliens who the U.S. would not return to their home countries.
“We can collaborate through different mechanisms,” she said, omitting specific details.

“There will be time to speak with the United States government if these deportations really happen, but we will receive them here, we are going to receive them properly and we have a plan,” she continued.
Sheinbaum, who was elected to the presidency in June, previously refused to confirm whether Mexican authorities would cooperate with Trump’s mass deportation agenda.
Last week, Mexico’s government said it was developing an app to help warn illegal aliens in the U.S. about imminent deportation efforts.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the app will alert the “consulate closest to their location about situations of imminent detention, notify family members who have previously been selected, as well as report to the Foreign Affairs Secretary.”
