Footage being uploaded to the internet appears to show mysterious flying aircraft shooting some type of ammunition towards the ground in New Jersey.
After weeks of drone swarms being spotted by locals, several people filmed drones firing what look like tracer rounds near New Jersey’s Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst military base on Thursday night.

Popular 𝕏 user “Chief Nerd” claimed one of the videos was shot “about 10 miles” from McGuire.
An 𝕏 Community Notes comment pointed out the base is “currently” engaged in training exercises.
However, with the nation focused on the bizarre drone phenomenon, it’s possible the training is either cover for a clandestine operation or is a reaction to the drone activity itself.
Former Republican Maryland Governor Larry Hogan posted a video to 𝕏 on Friday, saying he personally witnessed dozens of large drones above his Maryland residence and stating the lack of transparency from “the White House, the military, the FBI, and Homeland Security is entirely unacceptable.”
Hogan pointed out the federal government says it doesn’t “have any idea what they are, where they came from, or who has launched or is controlling them,” but claims “that they pose no threat.”
“I join with the growing bipartisan chorus of leaders demanding that the federal government immediately address this issue. The American people deserve answers and action now,” he added.
