A new series from Ben Swann’s Truth In Media focuses on the sides of January 6th mainstream media refuses to cover.

Hosted by journalist Lara Logan, the first episode of the series highlights the tragic events that led to the death of Jan. 6 protester Matthew Perna.

Logan spoke with Perna’s aunt, who described how Matthew went from a Bernie Sanders supporter to a Trump supporter being targeted by the feds for participating in the nation’s most infamous protest.

The family member also explained how the public backlash that came along with his legal troubles related to Jan. 6 pushed Matthew into a deep depression.

Eventually, Matthew took his own life “in despair” as a direct result of the fallout from January 6.

Perna’s father, who had already lost his wife, had now lost his oldest son.

Matthew Perna was not charged with committing any violent crime or damaging any property during the march.

In fact, Perna said following the demonstration that he felt undercover members of Antifa were guilty of instigating the police and inciting a riot.
