Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) got an earful from angry constituents during a town hall in Queens, New York, on Friday over a range of issues from Ukraine to the border crisis.
“American citizens before migrants,” a man holding small American flags yelled as he walked toward the congresswoman, video by FreedomNews.TV shows.
“Where are you on the migrant issue? You’re a piece of s–t,” he continued shouting before getting quickly escorted from the Corona auditorium.
“Okaaay,” AOC replied awkwardly.

But the fireworks had just begun. Other constituents criticized her on Ukraine, freedom of speech, drag queen story hour, and the ongoing debt ceiling negotiations.

The protesters took issue with Ocasio-Cortez’s support for US funding for Ukraine in its fight against invading Russian forces, her positions on the border crisis and her support for raising the debt ceiling.
“Stop funding this war, there’s a lot of communities that need help and need that money,” another woman shouted as she was ushered out of the auditorium in Corona.
“America First. Vetted legal migrants only,” “Stop funding Ukraine,” “AOC: An Obvious Criminal,” and “AOC: Stop pushing drag queen story hour,” were among the signs several of her constituents brought to the town hall and held up throughout the event.
At one point AOC claimed that the Biden administration should abolish the debt limit, prompting both boos and cheers from the crowd.
“$100 billion for Ukraine that you voted for!” a man shouted at Ocasio-Cortez in response.
AOC ignored the protests in a social media post about the event.

This isn’t the first town hall hosted by AOC that became hostile toward the “Squad” member.
In a 2022 town hall, AOC danged along to protesters beating drums while they chanted for her to resign.
