Angry community members met Saturday in Venice Beach to protest the police and demand that they release security camera video of the shooting.

The protest happened at the site of Tuesday’s fatal confrontation, at Pacific and Windward avenues, between two officers and a homeless man.

“Stop the violence nationwide – I’m saying that straight up,” one man said at the gathering, which drew Venice residents and activists.

Friends of slain 19-year-old Brendon Glenn say he was unarmed and didn’t deserve to die.
