The slogan “Hands up, Don’t Shoot” has become the rallying cry of Ferguson protesters and rioters despite the fact that multiple eyewitness testimonies and the physical evidence of the Michael Brown shooting prove that the traditional surrender stance was never actually employed by “Big Mike.”

Nevertheless, the facts didn’t stop players for the St. Louis Rams from striking the pose as they were introduced at yesterday’s home game against the Oakland Raiders.

But Sunday’s gesture by the Rams seemed out of place to many, considering the grand jury report, released just days before, confirmed the ‘The Gentle Giant’ never raised his hands in the ‘hands up, don’t shoot’ surrender pose.
