Six people were found dead inside a Gage Park home on the South Side on Thursday and Chicago police are conducting a murder investigation.

The victims were four adults and two children — ages 10 and 13 — all from the same family. Some were found tied up stabbed inside the brick bungalow in the 5700 block of South California Avenue at 1:05 p.m.

A man called police, asking for a well-being check, and the residents of the home were found dead.

Markita Williams, a neighbor, told the Chicago Sun-Times a family had lived in the home for at least the last three years.
