A spin doctor who has worked in “crisis communications” for the Democratic Party is publicly denying the revelation that murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich was in contact with Wikileaks before his death and that DC Police were ordered to cover-up the connection.
Last night, Fox 5 DC broke the story that Rod Wheeler, a private investigator, was told that there is information on Rich’s laptop which links Rich to Wikileaks.
“I have a source inside the police department that has looked at me straight in the eye and said, ‘Rod, we were told to stand down on this case and I can’t share any information with you.’ Now, that is highly unusual for a murder investigation, especially from a police department,” said Wheeler.
However, BuzzFeed reports today that the Rich family’s spokesperson Brad Bauman is denying the claims.
“As we’ve seen through the past year of unsubstantiated claims, we see no facts, we have seen no evidence, we have been approached with no emails and only learned about this when contacted by the press,” Bauman told BuzzFeed News.
Notice how BuzzFeed’s story about Bauman’s denial does not even mention that Bauman has close ties to the Democratic Party?
I guess that doesn’t fit the narrative.
As we previously reported when he initially attempted to shut down “conspiracy theories” surrounding Rich’s unexplained murder, Bauman’s LinkedIn page lists his roles as, “Managing a crisis communications and full service public relations firm,” and “Providing strategic communications advice to Democratic candidates and labor unions.”
The anti-Trump left is desperate to bury the Seth Rich story because it would debunk their entire baseless narrative that Russia was behind the DNC hack and colluded with the Trump administration to interfere in the election.
27-year-old Rich was shot in the back in Washington D.C. on July 10, the apparent victim of an attempted “robbery,” despite the fact that no possessions were taken. His murder remains unsolved.
