An online dating site that considers itself to be the “World’s Largest Sugar Daddy Dating Website,” has seen a huge increase in sign-ups, with membership subscriptions doubling since the government shutdown last week.

The popular website titled “Seeking Arrangement.com,” describes itself as the “number one website for those seeking mutually beneficial relationships,” which typically consists of a wealthy older man supporting a much younger girlfriend or mistress, and providing her with lavish gifts.

50 percent of the new subscribers are single moms. This fact has led the company to believe the dramatic increase is directly correlated to the government shutdown, especially since programs like WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children) have been “stalled,” leaving 9 million women without assistance.

The international website also says the spike in memberships are coming from subscribers solely located within the U.S. Additionally, the increase occurred almost immediately after the government announced its shutdown last week.

The public relations manager for SeekingArrangment.com, Jennifer Gwynn, said in an interview that business is usually very slow this time of year.

“For us to peak at the end of the month in September, and this week in general, it makes no sense for us to have a growth like this” said Gwynn.

CBS reports that another website called WhatsYourPrice.com, which advertises itself as the “world’s first online dating auction,” has also seen a “massive increase in daily signups” since the government shutdown.

Members of WhatsYourPrice.com have the possibility of “earning up to $80 for accepting a date with the highest bidder.”

Gwynn also added that “Since the recession the site has experienced tremendous growth, tripling its membership base to over 2 million members since 2008.”

While the government enters into the second week of declaring itself shutdown, the conglomerate of corruption, greed and tyranny continues to fund drone strikes overseas, conduct TSA grope downs, collect taxes, employ SWAT team raids, and continues to spy on innocent Americans.

The shutdown is nothing more than a political stunt designed to hurt the public. The employment of the National Park Police to barricade memorials in an attempt to keep Americans out of the public parks which are funded by their tax dollars, perfectly illustrates of the evilness of our current government.
