Following emerging details of lengthy meetings between White House officials and Robert Mueller’s investigative panel, which the President personally approved, Trump has slammed the special counsel as “Disgraced and discredited,” and branded his investigators as “Angry Democrat Thugs.”
The President noted that Mueller’s team spent over 30 hours grilling White House counsel Don McGahn, and accused the former of “looking for trouble, before labeling him a “national disgrace.”

Trump again posited that the investigation is being driven by partisanship, and that corruption among Democrats is being ignored by Mueller.
Trump again labeled the entire process a “Rigged Witch Hunt,” and accused Mueller of inventing “phoney crimes” to attempt to bring the President down.
Where’s the Collusion? They made up a phony crime called Collusion, and when there was no Collusion they say there was Obstruction (of a phony crime that never existed). If you FIGHT BACK or say anything bad about the Rigged Witch Hunt, they scream Obstruction!

Trump has continually pressured Mueller to end the investigation, insinuating that continuing it beyond the Summer would constitute an attempt to influence the 2018 midterm elections.
In earlier tweets on Sunday, Trump described the investiagtion as “McCarthyism at its worst.”

The president on Sunday also reemphasized that Mueller should investigate Hillary Clintonover her email server and more.
“What about the Brennan, Comey, McCabe, Strzok lies to Congress, or Crooked’s Emails!” Trump tweeted.

The President also defended Don McGahn, after the “failing” New York Times published report suggesting Trump thinks McGahn is a “John Dean type ‘RAT.’ ”
The failing @nytimes wrote a Fake piece today implying that because White House Councel Don McGahn was giving hours of testimony to the Special Councel, he must be a John Dean type “RAT.” But I allowed him and all others to testify – I didn’t have to. I have nothing to hide……

“I allowed White House Counsel Don McGahn, and all other requested members of the White House Staff, to fully cooperate with the Special Counsel,” the president tweeted Saturday evening. “In addition we readily gave over one million pages of documents. Most transparent in history. No Collusion, No Obstruction. Witch Hunt!”
