As the Planned Parenthood aborted body parts saga rumbles on, fresh footage has emerged of an abortionist working at a separate institution suggesting that it would be wonderful to be able to burn aborted fetuses as fuel.

(The comments begin at 23 mins in.)

The previously unreleased footage, which was acquired by the Center For Medical Progress, was leaked by someone within the group.

As Life News reports, the video was filmed at the National Abortion Federation’s conference, where the abortion industry meets up to talk shop.

The NAF has attempted to block the release of the footage, which is why it has remained unreleased until now.

The video shows Renee Chelian, owner of the Northland Family Planning chain of abortion clinics, discussing how she has so many leftover aborted fetuses that she doesn’t know what to do with them.

Chelian, whose clinics are responsible for approximately 25 percent of all abortions in Michigan, notes how a medical recycling company called Stericycle stopped providing service to the abortion clinics, leaving them without a way of disposing of the fetuses.

“I was so consumed with fetal tissue that I was ready to drive to upper Michigan to have a bonfire. And it was just trying to figure out, you know, how I wouldn’t get stopped or how far into the woods would I have to go to have this fire that nobody would see me,” Chelian says to a gathering of people at the NAF.

She later admits that she believes it would be a “great idea” to be able to burn what is left of the aborted babies for energy, but regretfully admits it would be a “PR nightmare.”

“This country doesn’t want to deal with death. And dead bodies. And whether, or tissue. … [S]o we pretend like that doesn’t happen. But when you want to have a real discussion, nobody’s ready for it. And…it’s a PR nightmare for us. If we end up being the front page of the paper, ‘Fetuses are being used for energy.’ I mean–I think it’s a great idea…” Chelian says.

As Life News notes, while this may sound hideous to pro-life advocates, it has actually happened in the past.

Last year, a plant in Oregon was caught burning aborted fetuses shipped in from Canada, as a way of generating electricity.

The plant owners denied the charge, suggesting that it was not burning fetuses, rather it was only “’fetal tissue,’ meaning umbilical cords and placentas. “Fetuses would be classified as ‘human remains’ and are in a different category.” a spokesperson claimed.

Nevertheless, the local Board of Commissioners decided to put a stop to the practice, canceling a contract with Stericycle Canada.

There you have it, burning aborted babies as fuel – it’s liberal.
