First Lady Melania Trump, joined by son Barron, received the annual White House Christmas Tree on Monday afternoon.
The tree was presented in a traditional horse-drawn carriage ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday as the Trump family heads to Florida Tuesday evening to celebrate at Mar-a-Lago.
The 19.5 foot Balsam fir tree, presented by the Chapman family of Wisconsin, will be decorated and displayed in the Blue Room of the White House.
The Chapman’s provided trees to the White House before, in 1998 and 2003.
Last month, Trump reminded Americans that they will be saying ‘Merry Christmas’ once again despite the constant political correctness by the Left.
“We will stop cold the attacks on Judeo-Christian values,” Trump said. “We’re getting near that beautiful Christmas season that people don’t talk about anymore. They don’t use the word ‘Christmas’ because it’s not politically correct.”
“Well guess what? We’re saying ‘Merry Christmas’ again.”
