Sheriff David Clarke slammed a liberal lawyer on Fox News’ Hannity Thursday for still defending the infamous “Hands up, Don’t Shoot!” narrative, which led to violence in Ferguson, Missouri.

The Milwaukee Sheriff blasted liberal lawyer Eric Guster after Guster attempted to defend the fake news narrative.

Guster said that Clarke’s comments about the narrative being fake news are “the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard said on TV.”

“It might sound dumb to you but there are DEAD COPS because of that fake news story out of Ferguson, Missouri. And Eric I resent that coming from you.” Clarke said.

“fake news has a birthplace and a birthday — Aug. 9, 2014 — when this widely held false belief was propagated by the media.” Clarke told Hannity.

“It changed America,” Clarke said. “This anti-police sentiment rose out of this. What I call the bastard child of ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot!’ ‘Black Lives Matter’ grew out of this thing. It swept the country.”

“We have dead cops because of that ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot!’ lie … people who were trying to avenge for the life of Mike Brown, who was a thug.” Clarke urged.

As Guster continued to talk over him , Clarke said “The only people who believe [fake news] are Liberals because they don’t critically think, they’re susceptible to nonsense, and all they can do is parrot talking points.”

“The ‘hands up don’t shoot’ fake news continues to this day and cops are STILL being killed across this country based off of that fake news story.” Clarke concluded.

Earlier in the day Clarke appeared on Fox & Friends to make the same point.

“The ‘hands up, don’t shoot’ lie was propagated by every mainstream liberal media across this country,” Clarke said. “The New York Times, The Washington Post, the LA Times, the Chicago Tribune, CNN, MSNBC all propagated that ‘hands up, don’t shoot’ lie. It was from that time forward that this concept of fake news was talked about.”

Clarke has repeatedly attempted to stand up against the fake news being pumped out by mainstream media regarding the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement.

Back in July, Clarke went off on CNN’s Don Lemon after the murder of three police officers in Baton Rouge, calling ‘Black Lives Matter’ a “hateful ideology” and demanding to know why the media has failed to focus on the epidemic of black-on-black violence.

Clarke is reportedly in the running for a position within the Trump administration, potentially within the Department of Homeland Security. He met with Trump last week to discuss the possibility.
