A warrant has been issued for Ethan Couch after his probation officer was unable to reach him or his mother, according to a statement from Couch’s attorneys. Couch and his mother, with whom he is living, have been out of contact with his juvenile probation officer for the last “several days,” attorneys Reagan Wynn and Scott Brown said in an emailed statement.
A juvenile probation officer has been unable to reach Ethan Couch and his mother for several days, attorneys Reagan Wynn and Scott Brown said in a written statement about their client.
“It’s our understanding that the court has issued a directive to apprehend to have Ethan detained because he is out of contact with his probation officer,” the defense lawyers said.
A directive to apprehend is the juvenile-court equivalent of an arrest warrant.
