<p><strong>If you ever had the vague sense that Covid relief funding worked in a manner akin to US aid packages in failed Middle Eastern dictatorships, your instincts weren’t wrong. </strong></p>



<p>First off, there were cases of just outright&nbsp;<a href="https://brownstone.org/articles/the-fake-investigations-of-covid-fraud/">fraud</a>&nbsp;<a href="https://nypost.com/2023/02/08/crooks-stole-191b-in-covid-19-unemployment-benefits/">nearing</a>&nbsp;the $200 billion mark with drug gangs and racketeers collecting Covid unemployment benefits from the US government, with some recipient fraudsters not even having the common decency of being honest American fraudsters.&nbsp;</p><div class="Al54su26"><div id="fullAd"></div></div>



<p>Even worse, though, were some legitimate uses of Covid funds that actually counted as legitimate despite being laughably frivolous or clearly unrelated to nominal goals connected to public health or helping communities deal with the economic impact of the virus – or, more accurately, the lockdowns.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>



<p>One of the most should-be-satirical-but-actually-real examples of a legitimate use of Covid cash was a researcher at North Dakota State University being&nbsp;<a href="https://www.thecollegefix.com/300000-in-covid-stimulus-funds-allocated-to-study-equitable-grading-strategies/">awarded</a>&nbsp;$300,000 by the National Science Foundation through a grant funded at least in part through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to aid her in her 2023 efforts to reimagine grading in the name of equity. (If none of that makes sense, please don’t hurt yourself with mental pirouettes.)</p>



<p>Other more mundane projects pertained to prisons and law enforcement using Covid relief money for purposes that extended well-beyond simply paying salaries or keeping the lights on. In 2022&nbsp;<a href="https://theappeal.org/covid-funds-police-prisons-arpa/">The Appeal</a>and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.themarshallproject.org/2022/09/07/how-federal-covid-relief-flows-to-the-criminal-justice-system">The Marshall Project</a>&nbsp;reported on how large sums of Covid money went to prison construction and expansion projects and to outfit police departments with new weaponry, vehicles, and canines. Regardless of how you feel about law enforcement or our prison system, these probably did little to stop the spread of Covid or keep out-of-work bartenders afloat while public health bureaucrats consulted horoscopes or goat entrails or their equally useful models to divine the proper time to let businesses reopen safely at half-capacity to diners willing to wear a mask between bites but too afraid to leave their homes.</p><div class="cEtp216S"><ul className="ifwTextAd"><li><a href="https://www.infowarsstore.com/preparedness/emergency-survival-foods?ims=cvxmt&#038;utm_campaign=foodbanned&#038;utm_source=banned.video&#038;utm_medium=banner&#038;utm_content=foodbanned"><p>Save 10% on ALL storable food and Alexapure Pro Water Filtration Systems! <p>Yet, of course, that didn’t stop people from trying to make the case that these expenditures absolutely were essential to slowing the spread. Often coming off like precocious children explaining to their parents how a new puppy would help teach them responsibility or an overpriced pair of sneakers would facilitate their social-emotional development by ensuring the cool kids would like them, local sheriffs and city managers were reported as claiming prison expansions could help prisoners social distance from each other, new tasers would help officers social distance from suspects, and new vehicles would allow officers to take their cars home with them rather than share one with another officer who might end up contaminating it with their Covid cooties.</p>



<p>But even worse than the funds that were outright plundered or just snatched up as part of a cash grab were those that were used on projects that helped further erode the freedoms of American citizens.&nbsp;</p>



<p>As&nbsp;<a href="https://epic.org/two-years-in-covid-19-relief-money-fueling-rise-of-police-surveillance/">documented</a>&nbsp;in a 2023 report from the Electronic Privacy Information Center, more than&nbsp;<a href="https://epic.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/EPIC-ARPA-Surveillance-Funding-Table.pdf">seventy</a>&nbsp;local governments used ARPA funds to expand surveillance programs in their communities, purchasing or licensing gunshot detection systems, automatic license plate readers, drones, social media monitoring tools, and equipment to hack smartphones and other connected devices.</p><div class="Xj7s8IFR"><div id="ifwAd"></div></div>



<p>Sometimes EPIC reported that this was done with little, if any, public debate over the civil liberties and privacy concerns inherent to these tools. In one&nbsp;<a href="https://chroniclet.com/news/341956/a-rush-to-surveil-in-lorain/">case</a>&nbsp;from a town in Ohio, approval for ARPA-funded ALPRs – cameras that can create a searchable, time-stamped history for the movements of passing vehicles – came after only a 12-minute presentation by their police chief.</p>



<p>Similarly, schools also likely used money from ARPA, as well as the 2020 Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, for their own surveillance purposes, although documentation of how schools used their Covid money is said to be somewhat spotty at best.&nbsp;</p>



<p><em>Vice News&nbsp;</em>in 2021&nbsp;<a href="https://www.vice.com/en/article/pkbpz7/tech-companies-want-schools-to-use-covid-relief-money-on-surveillance-tools">reported</a>&nbsp;how Ed Tech and surveillance vendors such as&nbsp;<a href="https://www.motorolasolutions.com/content/dam/msi/docs/solutions/education/grant_ed_2021-covid-cares-act.pdf">Motorola Solutions</a>,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.verkada.com/blog/leveraging-economic-relief-funding-k12/">Verkada</a>, and&nbsp;<a href="https://web.archive.org/web/20210510080212/https://schoolpass.com/cares-act-funding-schools/">SchoolPass</a>&nbsp;marketed their products as tools to help reduce the spread of Covid and allow schools to reopen safely.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Some attempts such as&nbsp;<em>Vice</em>’s description of SchoolPass presenting ALPRs as a means to assist with social distancing come off like police departments explaining the social distancing benefits of tasers.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Others, however, such as Motorola plying schools with lists of behavioral analysis programs that “monitor social distancing violations” and room occupancy while “automat[ing] the detection of students who are not wearing face masks,” seem to offer a glimpse of the dystopian future into which we are heading – as do the other surveillance tools bought with Covid cash.</p>



<p>Maybe at some point&nbsp;<a href="https://brownstone.org/articles/our-leaders-learned-nothing-from-their-covid-failures/">Disease X</a>, about which our ruling class has been warning us, will hit and the additional drones, ALPRs, and social media monitoring tools bought by the law enforcement agencies reported on by EPIC will be used to monitor adults for social distancing violations and automatically detect who isn’t wearing a mask. Maybe those tools will just be used to keep a&nbsp;<a href="https://brownstone.org/articles/the-greatest-trick-big-brother-ever-pulled/">digital notebook</a>&nbsp;of the daily activities of everyone while police reassure us that they promise only to look at it when they really really need to.</p>



<p>In either case, though, if you currently have the vague sense that post-Covid America is a little more like a Chinese surveillance state than in the Before Times, your instincts are dead-on. </p>

<p><strong>Private property rights are crucial to economic prosperity. Without them, it becomes impossible to set up a system of free markets that allows for rational economic calculation. Despite this, property rights are under attack in today’s world by progressives seeking to build a more “just” society through equity.</strong></p>



<p><a href="https://mises.org/mises-daily/priori-ownership-kant-property">When property is originally appropriated, it belongs to its owner.</a>&nbsp;The owner may use, transform, sell, or even not use his property at all, based solely on his own discretion. The owner of something has the most incentive to use his property responsibly. This might occur in the form of consuming a good with moderation or using a tool in the most efficient production process. The appropriation of property is a path towards wealth. In a free market system, one can acquire property, sell property, and even lease it, allowing for goods to reach the places where they are the most desired according to the price signals. Without a system of private property and free markets, bureaucrats would be scrambling to find a system of valuation for even the most basic goods and services. The odds would be stacked against them as they cannot compare to a system that allows for&nbsp;<a href="https://mises.org/mises-wire/intellectual-humility-spontaneous-order">voluntary transactions among people based on their individual subjective valuations.&nbsp;</a><br><br>Unfortunately, many now see the ability of people to own property as a problem for equity. Critics of free markets contend that “property is exploitation” and allows for the hoarding of resources by the wealthy. While it is true that some people are significantly wealthier than others, there should not be a problem if all of his property were acquired through fair and voluntary means. Regrettably, this often does not put off activists who still cling to a moral high ground for the equitable society they aim to bring about.&nbsp;<a href="https://mises.org/mises-wire/decolonizing-property-rights">Many even claim that property rights are an after-product of colonialism.</a><br><br>While a moral, deontological argument ought to be what convinces someone about private property and free markets, proponents of free markets can always just point to the disastrous consequences of the erosion of property rights. A notorious example is Zimbabwe’s land reforms under the rule of Robert Mugabe.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.cato.org/commentary/why-mugabes-land-reforms-were-so-disastrous">Mugabe’s regime confiscated approximately 23 million acres worth of land in an effort to redistribute farmland to the impoverished people in Zimbabwe.</a></p><div class="uUO14YXC"><div id="fullAd"></div></div>



<p>The rationale for this land reform was that the commercial farms that were confiscated were mostly owned by white residents who accounted for most of the wealth in Zimbabwe. Thus, the regime found it fitting to take property away from its most productive citizens and hand it to those who had nearly no clue what to do with it. Naturally, this resulted in food production reducing drastically in Zimbabwe causing food prices to rise and plunging much of the population into food insecurity. Investors fled from Zimbabwe and the lack of trust in property rights in Zimbabwe caused by the land reforms reflected in the value of farmland losing 75 percent of its value between 2000 and 2001.<br><br>This isn’t the only instance of a politically favored group ignoring property rights to get their wishes. A more contemporary example is that of the United States where&nbsp;<a href="https://mises.org/mises-wire/its-time-end-squatters-rights">squatter’s rights currently thrive.</a>&nbsp;Homeowners are unable to evict unwanted persons from their houses if a squatter contests residency in the house. In many cities across the US, law enforcement is not on the side of the property owners. Sadly, politics has triumphed over morality and economic sense in this regard as the current regime may find it politically beneficial to allow squatting in a bid to garner additional votes. This doesn’t happen without consequence though as many who lose their home refuse and warn others not to invest in areas where property rights are uncertain. Nobody wishes to lose something that rightfully belongs to them and any transgression against property rights is bound to fail in the long term due to that simple fact.</p>



<p>Despite all of this, states are even more eager to increase their power to extract and steal property from the residents of the land they control.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.parliament.gov.za/bill/2293351">South Africa’s proposed expropriation bill</a>&nbsp;states that its purpose is: “To provide for the expropriation of property for a public purpose or in the public interest; to provide for certain instances where expropriation with nil compensation may be appropriate in the public interest; and to provide for matters connected therewith.”</p>



<p>In short, the state believes itself to be capable of determining when property is not being optimally used, and when redistribution can lead to “better outcomes.” Even if we ignore the element of theft here, expropriating property owners and granting their possessions to the politically favored rarely works well. <p>In Conclusion, private property rights ought to be kept intact. A free society will always attract the more productive and hard-working compared to an unfree society. Economic prosperity is contingent on allowing for the flourishing of those who work hard to provide for the betterment of their fellow peers via the market process. By threatening the unprovoked confiscation of property, a society threatens to drive out their most capable members, which is a known recipe for disaster.</p>

<p>The 45th president went on to label the case as &#8220;fake,&#8221; and accused Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg of doing puppet President Joe Biden&#8217;s dirty work.</p>



<p>&#8220;They have no case and it&#8217;s been absolutely proven now that they have no case whatsoever,&#8221; Trump told reporters. &#8220;This is Alvin Bragg doing it for political reasons, for Biden. This is a Biden Trial. He&#8217;s a crooked president.&#8221; </p>

<p>Trump&#8217;s comments come as Judge Juan Merchan <a href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/trump-found-in-contempt-again-judge-threatens-jail-sanction-next/">again held Trump in contempt and threatened</a> the former US president with incarceration if he continued to defy the gag order, after he <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/judge-holds-trump-in-contempt-fines-him-9000-for-violating-gag-order-threatens-jail-if-repeated/" target="_blank">held Trump in contempt</a> last week and fined him $9,000.</p>



<p>&#8220;It appears that the $1,000 fines are not serving as a deterrent,&#8221; Merchan told Trump on Monday. </p>



<p>&#8220;Mr. Trump, I want you to understand the last thing I want to do is put you in jail&#8230;The magnitude of such a decision is not lost on me, but at the end of the day, I have a job to do.&#8221;</p>



<p>Trump, meanwhile, told reporters on Friday his attorneys were in the process of <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/watch-trump-to-challenge-unconstitutional-gag-order-suppressing-right-to-free-speech/" target="_blank">challenging the constitutionality</a> of the gag order.</p>

<p><strong>Speaking with <em>MSNBC</em> this week, California Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters called on Biden&#8217;s DOJ to &#8220;protect&#8221; America from allegedly violent conservatives waiting to attack if Donald Trump loses the 2024 election.</strong></p>



<p>Fearmongering to the liberal outlet&#8217;s audience about Donald Trump, Waters said, &#8220;This is a man who we better be careful about.&#8221;</p><div class="8mbRJKVs"><div id="fullAd"></div></div>



<p>She added, &#8220;I&#8217;m going to ask the Justice Department and I&#8217;m going to ask the president to tell us what they&#8217;re going to do to protect this country from violence if he loses. <strong>I want to know about all of those right-wing organizations that he&#8217;s connected with who are training up in the hills somewhere and targeting what communities they&#8217;re going to attack.</strong>&#8220;</p>

<p>Colangelo serves as a top prosecutor with&nbsp;Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg&#8217;s Office&nbsp;on the &#8220;hush money&#8221; case against former President Donald Trump and delivered opening statements in the unprecedented criminal trial.</p><div class="j2Eu0Gbj"><div id="fullAd"></div></div>

<p>DNC Services Corp/Democratic National Committee paid Colangelo twice on Jan. 31, 2018 &#8212; two payments of $6,000, for a total of $12,000, according to Federal Election Commission records reviewed by Fox News.</p>



<p>The &#8220;description&#8221; for the payment&#8217;s purpose is labeled &#8220;Political Consulting.&#8221;&nbsp;</p>



<p>Colangelo joined Bragg’s office in December 2022 after prosecutors who were investigating Trump, Mark Pomerantz and Carey Dunne, resigned in protest of Bragg’s initial unwillingness to indict the former president. </p><div class="Mi26cpBN"><ul className="ifwTextAd"><li><a href="https://www.infowarsstore.com/nitric-oxide-boost?ims=lmhoj&#038;utm_campaign=nitricboostbanned&#038;utm_source=banned.video&#038;utm_medium=banner&#038;utm_content=nitricboostbanned"><p>Power up with Nitric Boost that’s now 40% OFF! <p>Colangelo left a senior role at the Biden Justice Department to join Bragg&#8217;s team. </p>



<p>Bragg soon afterward brought charges against Trump in April 2023, raising questions among some in the GOP about alleged politicization of the case.&nbsp;</p>



<p>House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) last week sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland asking for <a href="https://www.infowars.com/posts/house-judiciary-gop-demands-answers-on-biden-doj-official-working-with-bragg-to-prosecute-trump/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">clarification over the close coordination between Biden’s Justice Department (DOJ) and Bragg&#8217;s office</a> in the NYC case, focusing on Bragg’s enlisting of Colangelo to help prosecute the case against Trump — who is currently&nbsp;leading Biden in the polls.</p><div class="fQlHb70w"><div id="ifwAd"></div></div>



<p>But Colangelo was making moves against Trump long before this case, having a hand in the lawsuit against the Trump Foundation in 2018 while working in the New York Attorney General&#8217;s office.</p>



<p>From <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ex-top-biden-doj-official-prosecuting-trump-once-paid-by-dnc-political-consulting" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Fox News</a>:</p>

The Trump Foundation ultimately agreed to dissolve in December 2018. &nbsp;</em></p><p><em>Colangelo stayed in the New York Attorney General’s Office after Underwood’s tenure, and under the leadership of current Attorney General Letitia James, who took over in 2018, when he continued to work on Trump lawsuits and investigations.&nbsp;</em></p></blockquote>



<p>But on the first day of the Biden administration in Jan. 20, 2021, Colangelo began serving as acting associate attorney general in the DOJ.</p>



<p>And before his work in the Biden DOJ and NY AG&#8217;s office, Colangelo worked different roles in the Obama administration, including in the DOJ&#8217;s civil rights division, deputy assistant to then-President Obama and as deputy director of the White House Economic Council, and chief of staff to then-Labor Secretary Tom Perez &#8212; who later became the DNC chair in 2017.</p>



<p>&#8220;Perez was DNC chairman at the time Colangelo was paid for &#8216;political consulting,'&#8221; Fox News reported.</p>



<p>It doesn&#8217;t get any more politicized than having a seasoned Democrat operative like Colangelo working on the prosecution of Joe Biden&#8217;s top political opposition in an election year.</p>



<p>Trump adviser Steve Bannon lambasted the GOP leadership on Monday for dragging their feet on launching an investigation into the Democrats&#8217; blatant election interference operation.</p>

<p>Bragg charged Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, but elevated the misdemeanor charges to felony charges, claiming the alleged falsifying of records was meant to facilitate &#8220;another crime&#8221; of promoting Trump&#8217;s election chances.</p>



<p>Trump has pleaded not guilty to all charges.</p>

<p><strong>The ink was barely dry on President Biden’s signature transferring another $61 billion to the black hole called Ukraine, when the mainstream media broke the news that this was not the parting shot in a failed US policy. The elites have no intention of shutting down this gravy train, which transports wealth from the middle and working class to the wealthy and connected class.</strong></p>



<p>Reuters wrote right after the aid bill was passed that, “Ukraine’s $61 billion lifeline is not enough.” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell went on the Sunday shows after the bill was passed to say that $61 billion is “not a whole lot of money for us…” Well, that’s easy for him to say – after all it’s always easier to spend someone else’s money!</p><div class="5Li56Fry"><div id="fullAd"></div></div>



<p>Ukraine’s foreign minister, &nbsp;Dmytro &nbsp;Kuleba, was far from grateful for the $170 billion we have shipped thus far to his country. In an interview with Foreign Policy magazine as the aid package was passed, Kuleba had the nerve to criticize the US for not producing weapons fast enough. “If you cannot produce enough interceptors to help Ukraine win the war against the country that wants to destroy the world order, then how are you going to win in the war against perhaps an enemy who is stronger than Russia?”</p>



<p>How’s that for a “thank you”?</p>



<p>It may be understandable why the Ukrainians are frustrated. Most of this money is not going to help them fight Russia. US military aid to Ukraine has left our own stockpiles of weapons depleted, so the money is going to create new production lines to replace weapons already sent to Ukraine. It’s all about the US weapons industry. President Biden admitted as much when he said, “we are helping Ukraine while at the same time investing in our own industrial base.”</p><div class="5X7FUWU3"><ul className="ifwTextAd"><li><a href="https://www.givesendgo.com/savealex"><p>URGENT! <p>This is why Washington Is desperate to make sure that if Donald Trump returns to the White House, the “Ukraine” gravy train cannot be shut down by his – or future – administrations. Last week news broke that the Ukrainian government was in negotiations with the Biden Administration to sign a ten-year security agreement that would lock in US funding for Ukraine for the next two and a half US Administrations. That would unconstitutionally tie future presidents’ hands when it comes to foreign policy and would leave Americans on the hook for untold billions more dollars taken from them and sent to the weapons industry and to a corrupt foreign government.</p>



<p>The US weapons industry and its cheerleaders in Washington DC are determined to keep Ukraine money flowing…until they can figure out a way to gin up a war with China after losing the current war with Russia. That, of course, depends on whether there is anything left of us when the smoke clears.</p>



<p>When President Biden signed the $95 billion bill to keep wars going in Ukraine and Gaza and to provoke a future war with China, he called it “a good day for world peace.” Yes, and “War is peace.” Debt is good. Freedom is slavery. We are living in a post-truth society where billions spent on pointless wars are “not a whole lot of money.” But the piper will be paid and the debt will be cleared.</p><div class="aDzYCPio"><div id="ifwAd"></div></div>

<p><strong>Former President Donald Trump has been found in contempt of court for a second time by a New York judge overseeing his hush-money trial.</strong></p>



<p>On Monday, judge Juan Merchan said that <strong>Trump had violated a gag order with additional social media posts</strong> about witnesses in the case, and will <strong>consider jail if there are additional violations.</strong></p><div class="Mje4h3tT"><div id="fullAd"></div></div>



&#8220;It appears that the $1,000 fines are not serving as a deterrent,&#8221; said Merchan. &#8220;Mr. Trump, I want you to understand the last thing I want to do is put you in jail.&#8221;

&#8220;The magnitude of such a decision is not lost on me, but at the end of the day, I have a job to do.&#8221;

Last week, Merchan fined Trump $9,000 and held the former president in criminal contempt of court for violating the gag order nine times.

<p>Hate him all you want, but George Soros is a tremendously shrewd political operator. He knows exactly what to do to get the results he wants. He has a big bundle of money, but even more importantly he knows what to do with it.</p>

<p>I’d actually been thinking of writing a piece along these lines before the news broke that Soros and Soros-backed organizations had been funnelling massive amounts of dosh to fund and organize the protests tearing America’s universities apart right now.</p>



<p>At the beginning of the month, there was <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13314709/George-Soros-drops-Democrats-war-chest-biggest-donation-2024-race-progressive.html">a piece on <em>The Daily Mail</em></a> about how Soros had just dropped $60 million into the Democrat’s election warchest.</p>



<p>But he didn’t just give all that money to Joe Biden. Soros wasn’t looking to buy $60 million worth of ice cream, crack and dollar bills for strippers’ G-strings.</p><div class="8DwCloeu"><div id="ifwAd"></div></div>



<p>Instead, Soros made sure his thick wad was targeted directly at any number of individuals and smaller causes, so that the hundreds or thousands of potential victories he buys will be far greater than the sum of their parts.</p>



<p>First he gave the money to Democracy PAC, his main distribution vehicle, and then Democracy PAC portioned and handed it out. It’s a well-rehearsed routine.</p>



<p>As well as giving money to other PACs like the House Majority PAC and the Senate Majority PAC, Democracy PAC gave $2.5 million to Planned Parenthood Votes, and the same amount to Black PAC so that it can boost African-American candidates in state-level races for governors, attorneys general and other lawmaking positions. And so on and so on.</p>



<p>Soros’s $60 million isn’t the biggest donation so far this year. That honour goes to the $82.5 million donated to Ron DeSantis’s presidential campaign by Never Back Down. But where did all that money get Ron?</p>



<p>Nowhere.</p>



<p>It’s not enough just to throw money at Republican candidates, even if they do go on to win the presidency.</p>



<p>Look what happened with Trump. He got in to the White House—and then he was barely able to do anything. And why was that? Because he was faced with an administration that was hostile to him at every level, from the highest generals and high-ranking officials in government, to the lowliest blue-haired dungaree-wearing badge-festooned teachers. Trump’s agenda was blocked at every turn, by fair means or—mostly—by foul.</p>



<p>Yes, the US system is a kind of monarchy, regardless of whether or not George Washington famously refused to wear a crown, but the power of the president is severely constrained by the massive human apparatus he must wield in order to get anything done. If you don’t “own” that, good luck.</p>



<p>I don’t think there’s a single person who’s been more committed to pursuing the so-called “Long March through the Institutions” in recent decades than George Soros, or who’s done so more capably.</p>



<p>The Long March through the Institutions, if you don’t know, is the Marxist plan, first put forward by the Italian Antonio Gramsci, to focus on capturing institutions like bureaucracies, universities and schools, rather than seeking to foment a workers’ revolution. Having suffered a series of reversals after the victory in Russia, many Marxists realised that conditions in Western Europe and America were not the same as in the Tsar’s former domain. There was no great revolutionary mob waiting for the curly-haired, bespectacled vanguard to lead them to the Promised Land of shared ownership of the means of production. It was going to take time. The fundamental institutions of society would need to be captured and changed. The culture would need to change.</p>



<p>Soros understands the importance of installing not just the big-hitters like the president, but DAs and judges.</p>



<p>And who knows when a friendly Manhattan DA might come in handy. Perhaps you need one to try a former president? Well, money can get you that when the time comes—and it might.</p>



<p>Soros was smart enough to look ahead.</p>



<p>The success of the Long March through America’s Institutions is exemplified best of all, I think, by the universities. America’s hallowed seats of learning now pour out tens of thousands of identical activists each year, all with identical views, just itching to get their claws into the patriarchy, to smash the fash and bring about a carbon-neutral, gender-neutral, uniformly cappuccino-coloured world.</p>



<p>And it’s not a wonder that now, at this moment of great tension, Soros’s investments in student groups like the Students for Justice in Palestine should be reaping such dividends. With campuses ablaze, he has the chaos he wants.</p>



<p>The Soros funding of the campus protests, revealed by <em>The New York Post</em>, only furthers my contention that Soros realises, perhaps better than anybody else, that the battle for the future of America must be fought not just in the halls of power, but in the halls of universities and schools, in the courts and the police departments and, not least of all, in the streets.</p>



<p>We’ve seen this before, of course. In 2020, at the height of the Summer of Floyd, Soros <a href="https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&amp;rct=j&amp;q=&amp;esrc=s&amp;source=web&amp;cd=&amp;cad=rja&amp;uact=8&amp;ved=2ahUKEwiTo5PuqvmFAxVP4MkDHXtbAegQFnoECBAQAQ&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.opensocietyfoundations.org%2Fnewsroom%2Fopen-society-foundations-announce-220-million-for-building-power-in-black-communities&amp;usg=AOvVaw3uEbYUrcbB7CtoPbAE2rqH&amp;opi=89978449">poured an eye-watering $220 million</a> into racial-equality organizations across the US. The racial reckoning brought about by the killing of George Floyd was “the moment we’ve been investing in for the last 25 years,” said Patrick Gaspard, then-president of Soros’s Open Society Foundations.</p>



<p>Gaspard was right. That was the moment Soros had been waiting and paying for, for a quarter of a century.</p>



<p>And so is this.</p>



<p>The presidency is once again in the balance, and once again George Soros has his fingers on the scale.</p>

<p>The <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://cass.independent-review.uk/home/publications/final-report/" target="_blank">Cass Review</a> published in the U.K. has lead some physicians to alter the practice of prescribing transgender drugs to children while other European countries are also scaling back their transgendering operations against children, according to <a href="https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/european-psychiatrists-warn-against-experimental-and-harmful-transgender-medicine/?utm_source=most_recent&amp;utm_campaign=usa">Lifesite</a>.</p>



<p>&#8220;Scottish gender clinics and the British <a href="https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/uk-national-health-service-puberty-blockers/">National Health Service</a> (NHS) have since <a href="https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/scottish-gender-clinics-halting-puberty-blockers-could-be-a-tipping-point-in-transgender-debate/">halted</a> the prescription of puberty blockers,&#8221; Lifesite <a href="https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/european-psychiatrists-warn-against-experimental-and-harmful-transgender-medicine/?utm_source=most_recent&amp;utm_campaign=usa">said</a>. &#8220;Other European countries like <a href="https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/denmark-is-the-latest-european-country-turning-away-from-transgender-mutilation-of-children/">Denmark</a> and <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20230208-sweden-puts-brakes-on-treatments-for-trans-minors" target="_blank">Sweden</a> have also moved away from the so-called &#8216;affirmative model of care&#8217; of minors who struggle with gender dysphoria in the recent past.&#8221;</p>
