Pentagon spokesman John Kirby appeared to become emotional Friday when asked whether Russian President Vladimir Putin was a “rational actor” in the Ukraine conflict.
“It’s hard to look at what he’s doing in Ukraine, what his forces are doing in Ukraine and think that any ethical, moral individual could justify that,” Kirby began before appearing to become choked up and pausing for a moment.
“It’s difficult to look at some of the images and imagine that any well-thinking, serious, mature leader would do that. So I can’t talk to his psychology. But I think we can all speak to his depravity,” Kirby added.

Kirby later apologized for his emotional display, saying “I don’t want to make this about me.”
He also characterized Putin’s invasion of Ukraine as “BS.”
“It’s hard to square [Putin’s]…BS that this is about Nazism in Ukraine, and it’s about protecting Russians in Ukraine, and it’s about defending Russian national interests, when none of them, none of them were threatened by Ukraine,” said Kirby.
Notably absent from Kirby’s soliloquy was any mention of Ukraine’s documented war crimes committed against Russian troops or the people in the Donbas region.
For example, horrifying videos circulated social media showed Ukrainian soldiers torturing captured Russian troops by shooting their groins.
Does John Kirby cry when see the videos of Russian POWs with their eyes gouged out by Ukrainians?
Or does he choose not to watch those?
This is a horrifying war, but I’m sick of our government pretending only one side is committing atrocities. https://t.co/DkRZYLjXi5

No such videos exist showing Russian troops committing similar atrocities towards Ukrainians, for if they did they would be all we see in Western media.
In fact, the one instance of atrocities allegedly committed by Russians in Bucha earlier this month shows all the hallmarks of a false flag operation, as Ukrainian soldiers cleared out the Russians from the area the day before the so-called “massacre” took place.
As for Putin’s “rationality”, the Russian president repeatedly spelled out Russia’s motivations and national security priorities that compelled the former Soviet nation to act militarily in Ukraine, most notably the prospect of Ukraine becoming a NATO member.
Is this John Kirby’s “babies in incubators” moment?
Perfect example of Usa Atrocity propaganda :Nayirah Kuwaiti girl’s FAKE testimony with fake tears about incubator babies+ many people to believe her lies which enable usa gov to use this pretext for invasion of Iraq that caused millions of deaths in Iraq.https://t.co/RXqOljkeGr
