Heartbreaking video shows a mother and her newborn baby separated by a sheet of plastic as the mother tries to coo the infant during its first moments.
The dystopian footage shows the squirming baby crying while draped in plastic film as the masked mother coos the child with gentle happy music in the background.
Horrified Twitter users characterized the video as “disgusting”, “very sad”, and “madness.”

According to the CDC‘s website on COVID-19:
“Current evidence suggests that the risk of a newborn getting COVID-19 from their mother is low, especially when the mother takes steps (such as wearing a mask and her washing hands) to prevent spread before and during care of the newborn.”
Additionally, research has found that skin-to-skin contact between the mother and her baby in its first moments is critical for its development, including breathing, heart rate, blood sugar, and temperature.
This appears to be just more twisted social engineering that serves no purpose other than conditioning individuals to stay isolated from others.
